The floor shook. We stood mesmerized. The Arizona heat melted us into a puddle of hearts at their feet. It’s a rare and beautiful thing to witness a band hit their stride, and it’s a fragile and telling moment when your opening act surpasses you – I was humbled. Tegan and Sara were an absolute blast to tour with; they are exceptionally talented and continue to show up for countless artists, including me. I am forever grateful for their friendship and generosity.
